1819 Mourning Picture

Just a few random shots from around my home. This is an 1819 memorial or mourning picture on velvet for a Benjamin Brymer. His father - Colin Brymer - was a loyalist and was transported to Canada by the British Gov't during the American Revolution. These families became known as United Empire Loyalists. Even though Benjamin lived his life in Canada, his children moved back to CT where the family originally lived.
