A 254 year old leather bound English dictionary with an early make-do cloth spine. This dictionary was passed down through the Taber family with the last recipient using a small piece of paper containing her name and some doodles. The Tabers were a well-known and important family in Massachusetts in the 18th and 19th centuries. Primitive and well-used this dictionary will make a wonderful addition to any collection of early books.
It is 5.5" x 8.5" and is 2.75" thick.
