The Ladies Pocket Almanac was basically a ladie's magazine with an almanac included for the date specified on the front of the pamphlet. Inside the almanac you have agricultural information but you also have advertisements for things that ladies would need. In this almanac is a long ad for the new sewing machines that include how to use it, the different types of sewing machines available and - as a hint to the backer of this almanac - a back cover ad for the Wheeler and Wilson's Sewing Machine Manufactory. It measures approximately 7" x 5".
