18th Century Single Candle Mold in Black Paint

A rare 18th century single candle mold in its original black paint. These were used by homeowners and was not a commercial candle mold to make tallow candles. It was found in Lancaster County, PA at an Amish Mud Sale and looks to have been used throughout the 19th century to make candles. It is 10" tall.
