This is a rare and wonderful Gibb's Hobby Horse toy. It was first introduced in 1914 and is made of wood and tin with a lithographed body. One side is in excellent shape while the other has some damage to it probably due to exposure to the sun. This toy is a little known and not often seen Gibb's toy. The Gibb's Toy Company was started in the 1890's in Canton, Ohio when they first started to make wooden tops for children. It is 9" long x 6" tall at its head.
