A Matched Pair of 18th Century Spiral Courting Candles with Their Original Bases
This is a true and exact pair of 18th century iron courting candles that are very rare. They have not been put together because they look similar but are actually a true pair of candlesticks that were made by the same artist/blacksmith. Found in the Strasburg area of Lancaster County, they are an amazing and rare set of candlesticks. The bases are made of American walnut so they were made here and are in pristine condition for their age. No replaced bases, no missing pieces, and still as easy to turn through the spirals as when they were made over 250 years ago. They would be he centerpiece of your collection!
They are both 7.5" tall.
