A beautiful little baby girl sitting for her portrait. When looking at the portrait in the frame,  no evidence of her mother or other person can be seen but when the frame is removed from the ambrotype, mama can be seen off to the left holding her baby girl still. Gold embellishments have been added to each shoulder of her dress. She is in a 3" x 3.25" case with a blue velvet interior and is 2.75" x 3" in her frame.
