Antique Civil War Era Gooseneck Coffee Pot with Pewter Handle
A wonderful Civil War era gooseneck coffeepot with its original pewter handle that is in perfect shape. The pewter is not a replacement handle but is original to the coffeepot as you can see in the close-up of the handle. It is a beautifully formed tin coffeepot and would have been owned by middle-class folks who were proud of their homes. Some of them were decorated with punched designs that included tulips and geometric shapes, this one is plain but beautiful. Made - and found - in Lancaster County, PA this would be great for your tin collection or to use at an re-enactor camp or event. It is 11" tall.
