This is a set of six Civil War era whistles and rattles. They are sometimes considered to be toys for children but were also whistles and rattles that were used during parades and rallies during this time. One large drum whistle has lost its handle but it can easily be soldered or glued back in place.
Sizes are: metal pipe - 6.25", three large rattle/whistles - 5.25", small drum rattle/whistle - 5", and small flat cornucopia horn - 4.5".
