Circa 1880 picture mourning brooches in their original case. These were all the rage in the late 1800's to early 1900's as keepsakes to remember family members or close friends after their death. These mourning pictures were to be worn by those left behind as a constant reminder of their loved ones. The set is in its original little case and the mourning brooches are in wonderful condition.
The little case is 0.75" tall x 3" long and each pin has an approximately 1.1" diameter.
