A gorgeous, beautiful, and RARE late 18th century tiny sparrow/bird roaster. I have never seen one this small or made so beautifully. The  semi-diamond ends on each side of the roaster and the flattened spatulate points of the hooks were made by an accomplished blacksmith. All of the ends are rolled and the handle is carefully attached to make this a little piece of art. What a wonderful piece for your hearth or for your collection of early tin! It measures 7" tall x 7.25" long x 5.25" deep including drip pan.
