A Circa 1800 transitional Betty lamp that was an early style with that thin pointy wick area. It has some features of the older open fat lamps and also has an early lid that is a main feature of the later true 'Betty' lamps. A very early piece of lighting, this fat lamp will be a great addition to your early lighting collection. It is 4.5" tall to the top of the hanger and is 4" long.
