Early 19th Century Glass and Tin Lantern
A nice early 19th century personal glass and tin lantern that is in great working order. The candle is too tall for this little lantern but it also demonstrates the reason for that air hole at the top of the lantern. This air hole would allow the candle the air flow it needed while protecting the lighted candle from the elements.
It can sit on a table or in a cupboard and it can also be hung by a door or from a beam in your tavern room, great room, or even in your bedroom! It is 9" tall and is 4.5" x 4.5" wide.
