A very nice early 19th Century pewter whale oil lamp that is in excellent condition with no dings, scrapes, or missing pieces. The single burner is intact and can be easily removed with the brass fitting still shiny and without oil stains. It would have been a personal lamp meant to light a small area or a bedroom. It stands 5" tall with a 3" diameter base.
