Frye's Vitrifiable Colors for Painting China in Original Box
These are vials of 'Vitrifiable Colors' that are powered minerals that were used for painting and tinting china or porcelain before firing. They are from The Fry Art Co. New York. The company was located at 36 West 24th St in New York City and classes on how to use these, and other, painting techniaues were held by Marshal Fry Jr. as far back as 1901.
Each vial measure 2.25” tall and they are in their original box that is 2.5" x 3.5".
The colors are Yellow Green, Raised Paste, Yellow Brown, Dresden Flux, and Black. It is rare to find these vials in their original box and apparantly unused.
