German Putz Sheep with Bell and Light Red Collar

German Putz Sheep with Bell and Light Red Collar

A 3.5" German putz sheep with a light red collar and its original bell. Each German putz sheep that we have today came from German villages (usually in the Erzgebirge region). They made these little sheep as part of a cottage industry that grew up in Germany starting in the late 18th century with most of the sheep we buy today coming from the late 19th century and into the early 20th century. This little sheep has its original bell and is ready to be adopted by you today.

My Living Room 2018

That grain painted wardrobe that you can see in this picture will soon be replaced by an 18th century highboy that I fell in love with while up in New England a few months ago.
