Late 18th Century Betty Lamp with Remnants of Its Original Gold Paint

$139.00Price

An 18th century Betty Lamp that is in excellent condition and even has remnants of its original gold paint. These iron Betty Lamps were sometimes painted to look like the more expensive brass lamps and possibly brighten the room in which it hung. It has its original pick and still has a bit of its cotton wick in the reservoir.

It is 11.5" to the top of the pick and 6" to the top of the lamp itself.

Offered with FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING. International buyers please use the shipping feature in your shopping cart.

My Living Room 2018

My tastes in furniture and antiques are taking me earlier into our past and my living room right now my favorite room in my home. That grain painted wardrobe that you can see in this picture will soon be replaced by an 18th century highboy that I fell in love with while up in New England a few months ago.
