Powder Horn/Priming Flask-Pennsylvania-Revolutionary War Era

Powder Horn/Priming Flask-Pennsylvania-Revolutionary War Era

$149.00Price

An 18th century Revolutionary War era powder horn/priming flask from Pennsylvania, possibly Lancaster County. It has a flush-fitting, hardwood (walnut?) base-plug that may be made of walnut. It has its original square-shank securing-tacks and its iron staple that is an attachment point for a suspension cord. The pouring end of the horn has a turned and carved design and that wonderful long plug with that perfectly turned round top.

All in all, a beautiful 18th century powder/flask horn from the American Revolution era.

It is 9.5" long.
