A rare and unusual German lead hen with her chicks all gathered in her feathers. They would have been nestled in the cotton batting used for 'snow' or sitting in some straw that is found in farmyards and barns in putz displays.Two of the tiny chicks are each missing one foot but the rarity of this figure is such that just finding one of these make it desireable.
